This is a very positive development. Whilst the recommendations for people undergoing dental procedures hasn’t changed, the amendments offer greater information for those who use this clinical guidance for certain high-risk groups and those who require special consideration for non-routine care. This will make the guidance easier for dentists to follow and provide additional reassurance for patients.

- It is also home to the UK’s only Faculty of Surgical Trainers, open to all those with an interest in surgical training regardless of College affiliation.
