Lead Instructor
Johnathan Price is the Lead Instructor for maintenance training at the Sikorsky Training Academy in Jupiter, FL. John’s charter is to provide leadership and oversight for all maintenance instructors at the Sikorsky Training Academy, ensuring Sikorsky continues its outstanding training record. John also oversees customer training and ensures timely execution of maintenance training contracts.
Since joining Sikorsky Aircraft in January of 2018, John has performed as an Inspection Supervisor and Multi-Functional Quality Associate Manager at the West Palm Beach facility. He provided direction and guidance of quality processes and procedures to assembly inspectors, flight inspectors and external departments supporting the test, development, and production of military, commercial and prototype helicopter platforms to include UH-60L/M, HH-60W, CH-53K, S-92A, S-70i/M, and S-76D aircraft.
Prior to joining Sikorsky Aircraft, John served over 24 years in the U.S. Army where his responsibilities included UH-60 Helicopter Maintainer, Crew Chief, Technical Inspector, Instructor/Writer, Platoon Sergeant, Detachment Sergeant, Senior Career Manager, and First Sergeant. During his service, he deployed in support of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.?
